Every biodiesel must meet BS 14214 fuel specifications before its usage. Read more about biodiesel fuel specifications on this page.
Biodiesel is a specific type of fuel that is extracted from renewable resources and is biodegradable, such as vegetable oil, animal fat, etc. It has extremely low emissions and is compatible with almost all diesel engines.
However, biodiesel has to meet a set of fuel specifications described in the EN14214 standard. This is to ensure that the fuel is safe to use for the engine and the environment. This standard is applicable to FAME biodiesel, CHP Biofuel, and other UCOMe biodiesel. Let’s read those specifications here.
